The advantages of  it based communication system e.g. email, blogger etc. You can save paper because you get texts for your phone bills instead of being sent it in the mail. It also lets you save money from printer consumers such as ink. It makes everything neater and less waste. You can save space from filing cabinets as well having security measures more better. it is also Eco friendly.
The disadvantages are that some people don't like technology or you could entering in the wrong information. To have 100% paperless work environment could cost time and money. All work is electronically saved so there is a probability that the computer could breakdown or get a virus. There is also the security issue of hackers which could mean they can change your work or worse delete some of it. Some of these equal to identity theft, credit card fraud and many other crimes. The social side of it based communication systems is that you can talk to people anywhere around the world but the bad side of it is someone might hack your account and talk to people through your profile.

Some of the likely threats and risks from IT based communication systems are viruses which could make you lose work. Plagiarism is when your work gets copied by someone else. Cyber bulling  is when you get called names over the computer server. Spam is unnecessary emails blocking content you need. Phishing is when someone tries to attempt to take your username, password etc. Copy writing is when someone copy's your work and claims it for their own. Adding images is also bad because you might download an image and you might have tons of unwanted pop ups

Identify why you think a blog-site is an effective means of communication within a large organisation. Use some of the features of Blog spot to illustrate your report.

I think blog sites are a useful means of communication because you can add people who you choose to build up a contact list , get followers means if your writing a blog and someone is interested someone would want to follow your blog, its easy to use because you can change text color and font, its a free use service, you can check your work as well as other peoples comments, you can customize it however you want, your blog spots domains are free, and its already designed for you, it has a very useful search engine so you can find your friends work and you can use it wherever there's an internet connection or get a phone app of it.

Some issues could be that some languages would not be allowed (e.g. Arabic). Some of the icons don't work for some users. Others get logged out of another location. Some safe ways to prevent some of these happening to you could be using fire wall, HTTP, logging out, declining stranger requests, make a secure password with alphabetic and numeric figures and don't make strangers your authors.
